Kira and Mark Zabrowski own and operate Much Ado About Pizza in Pleasanton, California, a pizzeria that made Yelp’s 2024 Top US Restaurants list and was named one of the top five pizzerias in the Bay Area by Diablo Magazine in 2023. Before opening their shop in 2022, Kira taught Theatre and English for 25 years, inspiring their “Shakespearean” themed pizzeria, while Mark worked in sales management and taught high school Business and Economics. Their pizzeria is known for its slow-fermented sourdough crust and seasonal toppings. They love working with their 2 children, Zoe (14), and Mark, Jr.(16) and are passionate about supporting the arts, education, young entrepreneurs, community, and pizza! They are active members of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, Slice Out Hunger, and the US Pizza Team.
